Inspect Before Moving
Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report unsafe equipment or defects immediately—never operate an unsafe vehicle.
Buckle Up Every Time
Seat belts are required whenever the vehicle is in operation. Confirm the cab is secure before moving.
Drive Distraction-Free
No texting or handheld phone use while driving. Pull over safely before handling messages, paperwork, or dispatch updates.
Follow Hours of Service
Maintain accurate logs, follow applicable hours-of-service limits, and never drive while fatigued or ill.
Secure Every Load
Verify cargo, doors, seals, straps, and securement devices before departure and recheck them as required.
Control Speed and Space
Obey posted limits, adjust for traffic and weather, maintain safe following distance, and avoid aggressive driving.
